members. No insurance company access.
When should I consider DNA profiling and banking?
There is no better time than right now to create your own genetic profile and medical history! You
may also inquire about DNA profiling and banking upon making funeral arrangements for your loved one.
Who can be DNA profiled and banked?
Anyone! Living and deceased family members may be DNA profiled and banked.
For the deceased, sample collection is performed prior to burial or cremation. Disinterment is a costly option for those who did not take advantage of the initial option for DNA banking.
Cremation offers no recourse for DNA banking and testing.
Other family members may also request DNA profiling and banking at any time.
When do I receive my results?
A unique DNA profile will be generated in 5-7 days. A booklet containing full-color graph along with information of your loved one’s DNA profile will be mailed to you in 3-4 weeks.
